Damae Medical is developing optical imaging medical devices and artificial intelligence software for diagnostic support for dermatologists to accelerate commercialization.
"Our goal is simple: to provide dermatologists with a complete solution to manage patients early, efficiently and non-invasively. Skin cancers affect more than 5 million people worldwide each year. But "the prognosis of patients continues to depend heavily on the time of their diagnosis," summarizes Anaïs Barut, co-founder and CEO of Damae Medical
The financing round was led by BNP Paribas Développement and its historical investors Kurma Partners and Paris Saclay Seed Fund.
The startup had already carried out an operation with Kurma Partners, Idinvest Partners, Paris-Saclay Seed Fund and business angels. The whole operation was completed with grants from BPI and the European Commission.
"We are going to collaborate with more and more centers to position our artificial intelligence tools as routine companions for dermatologists and thus facilitate and accelerate the diagnosis" Anaïs Barut, co-founder and CEO.
Congratulations to the team and good luck!
