Mindee offers an API that lets you transform raw data from a paper document into structured data.
The startup raised a $14 million Series A round led by GGV Capital.
Other investors in the round include Alven, Serena Capital, Bpifrance's Digital Venture fund and several business angels, such as Algolia co-founder Nicolas Dessaigne and Datadog co-founder Alexis Lê-Quôc.
This round will allow Mindee to expand its presence in the US and European markets and to further develop the underlying Machine-Learning engine and the platform's features.
"Document processing is the slowest step in most modern workflows. Instantly analyzing documents, with better-than-human accuracy, is the challenge of the next decade on our path to digital transformation. Mindee combines cutting-edge Deep Learning research with a unique developer-centric approach to help software solutions meet this challenge," said Jonathan Grandperrin, CEO of Mindee.
Congratulations to the team and good luck!
