Skello offers personnel management software from employee scheduling to payroll.
They have already brought together more than 150 employees and 7,000 customers.
"Skello allows managers to extract the variable elements of the payroll sent to the partner software and to generate payslips automatically" - summarizes Quitterie Mathelin-Moreaux, CEO of Skello.
The startup was founded in 2016 with the initial goal of addressing their solutions to the hospitality industry. Later, in 2019, Skello took the opportunity to open their solution to the retail sector. They have rightly seduced customers like Biocoop, Carrefour, Intermarché, etc.
With the Covid-19 crisis, Skello has managed to extend their product to the retail and healthcare sectors. Thus, even with the downturn in the hotel and restaurant sector, the startup was able to offer its solution to other growing businesses.
"Restaurateurs and hoteliers are not the only ones still using an Excel document or a sheet of paper to manage their complex organizational and planning issues" - explains the CEO.
This fundraising will allow Skello to strengthen its position on the French market and to expand in the sector. The startup also aims to expand into Spain and Germany, where they are currently opening offices and recruiting locally. Their ambition is to double their investment in recruitment from 150 current employees to 300 by the end of 2022 and 500 in 2023.
Skello's CEO also says they plan to continue to develop their product by strengthening the Smart Planner technology and integrating features that allow employees to participate in the planning process.
"Smart Planner technology generates the best possible planning by compiling all the constraints" - says Quitterie Mathelin-Moreaux about their product.
